Intentions for September 2022
There used to be a general intention and a missionary intention for every month. Popes used to ask the faithful to pray for those intentions. In recent years Francis abandoned missionary intention. I have decided to come up with two intentions every month. Here are two intentions for September 2022.
General: Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for restoration of death penalty wherever it is abolished or put on hold. Grant that every murderer is caught and executed and no innocent person is punished.
Missionary: Lord Jesus Christ, we pray that all heathens become Christians. Enlighten all heathens that they may know you are the light of the world, bread of life, the way, the truth, the life and the resurrection and accept you as God and Saviour.
Intenciones para Septiembre 2022
Antes había una intención general y una intención misionera para cada mes. Los Papas solían pedir a los fieles que oraran por esas intenciones. En los últimos años Francisco abandonó la intención misionera. He decidido proponer dos intenciones cada mes. Aquí hay dos intenciones para septiembre de 2022.
General: Señor Jesucristo, oramos por la restauración de la pena de muerte dondequiera que sea abolida o suspendida. Haz que todos los asesinos sean capturados y ejecutados y que ningún inocente sea castigado.
Misionero: Señor Jesucristo, oramos para que todos los paganos se conviertan en cristianos. Ilumina a todos los paganos para que sepan que eres la luz del mundo, el pan de vida, el camino, la verdad, la vida y la resurrección y te acepten como Dios y Salvador.
